TOUR PROGRAM

1. Moscow

Arrive in Moscow, meet with a guide and driver.

Dinner at the restaurant near from airport.

Accommodation at the hotel.

2. Moscow

After breakfast you will see Red Square, Alexander Garden, Tomb to the Unknown Soldier, Lenin’s mausoleum, Saint Basil’s Cathedral, GUM, monument to G.K. Zhukov, Historical museum, The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.

Excursion in the Kremlin. The Moscow Kremlin is considered to be a symbol of the Russian statehood. The Kremlin hill became the main sightseeing of Moscow. The architectural ensemble “The Moscow Kremlin and Red Square” is included into the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list.

After lunch visit Zaryadye park. Enjoy Moscow views from river overlook.

After you will visit Lenin Hills – one of the highest points in Moscow and MSU, the oldest and the most famous University in Russian Federation.

Excursion “Royal residence-Kolomenskoye” with a visit to the Palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich (inspection of the male half). The Kolomenskoye estate is one of the oldest residences of Russian sovereigns: Grand Duke Vasily III and Tsar Ivan the terrible. The Palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich is a unique recreated monument of Russian wooden architecture of the XVII century. The main feature of the Palace’s architecture is the successful combination of the art of traditional, pre-Petrine Russia and Western Europe. The exhibition consists of 24 recreated interiors. Thanks to the high level of performance skills, decorative elements, a variety of techniques and materials used, a fabulous atmosphere and a good mood is created.

After lunch the Metro – tour. Visit one of the most beautiful subways in the world – “Underground palace”.

A walking tour along Arbat Street, shopping.

4. Moscow

Tour of Zamoskvorechye. This is a historic district of old Moscow, a real open-air Museum-reserve, one of the few areas in Moscow where the spirit of the old city has been preserved. You will learn how and why the Tretyakov gallery appeared in Zamoskvorechye and, of course, admire the merchant mansions and beautiful temples that have decorated this area since ancient times.

Excursion to the Tretyakov gallery – Moscow art Museum, founded in 1856 by merchant Pavel Tretyakov and having one of the largest and most significant collections of Russian fine art in the world. Here you will feel the greatness of Russian culture and enjoy the works of decorative and applied art of the XI – early XX century.

Lunch.

Excursion to the observation deck of the Federation tower. The view of Moscow from the height of its main skyscraper, the Federation tower – is an unforgettable and fascinating sight. From the PANORAMA360 observation deck, Moscow opens in all its splendor.

5. Moscow, Sergiev-Posad

Visit Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics dedicated to space exploration, and VDHKh, a permanent general purpose trade show and amusement park in Moscow.

Transfer to Sergiev Posad.

Sergiev Posad is a town founded in the 15th century, whose history is inseparably linked with the name of the Russian Saint Sergius of Radonezh and the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, the largest Russian Orthodox monastery.

Sightseeing tour of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra with a visit to the Assumption and Trinity Cathedrals. You will see the white-stone Trinity Cathedral, a masterpiece of Russian architecture, the oldest of the buildings on the territory of the monastery. The ancient iconostasis of the Trinity Cathedral saves the icons of the letter of Andrei Rublev. Marvel at the greatness of the Assumption Cathedral, created at the behest of Ivan the Terrible and on the model of the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. Visit the temple in honor of St. Sergius with one of the most beautiful carved iconostasis of Russia and the refectory chamber.

Return to Moscow.
