TOUR PROGRAM

1. Moscow

Upon arrival you will be met at the airport by our guide and taken to the hotel

Panoramic city tour including Cathedral of Christ the Savior, The Triumph Arch, Sparrow Hills, Moscow Cable car

Dinner.

After the check-in in the hotel you will have free time to relax and get some rest after a long international flight.

2. Moscow

Breakfast at the hotel

Meeting with a guide. Visit of Tsaritsino palace where the tourists can dress up in the Russian historical clothes.

Lunch.

Walking tour on the Red Square. You will visit the Moscow Kremlin. In the Kremlin you will have an impression about old Russian monarchy and its way of life.

Time for walking through the oldest State Department store GUM. Located in the Red Square’s eastern side, the GUM is the most famous department store and shopping mall in Moscow. Due to its 19th century architectural style, it looks like a royal palace. Besides the elegant design, the GUM Moscow also welcomes its customers with stores displaying articles of some of the world’s most famous brands, retail outlets, but also with leisure and cultural activities, and numerous restaurants and cafés. The most beautiful Moscow shopping mall, GUM is also considered to be one of the best-looking malls in the world.

3. Moscow

Visit to VDNH – a permanent general purpose trade show and amusement park in Moscow.

Lunch

Visit of Ostankino TV Tower. Rise at observation deck located at the height of 337 meters with an exciting panoramic city view.

Transfer to railway station. Night train to Petrozavodsk.

4. Karelia, Kizhi

Meeting at the railway station with a guide.

Boat tour to Kizhi Island. This is a pearl of Karelia. The main attraction is the Museum of Wooden Architecture and its heart – the Kizhi Pogost ensemble. During a guided tour on the island, you’ll visit a traditional farmer’s house, learn a lot about Karelian crafts and traditions; will listen to church bells ringing and will see one of central Orthodox relics of the Russian North – Church of the Resurrection of Lazarus.
The boat transfer takes 1,5 hours one way. You spend 4 hours on the Island.

5. Karelia, Ruskeala Mountain Park

Guided tour to Ruskeala Mountain Park. The mountain park “Ruskeala” is a unique man-caused and natural landscape and tourist attraction, tourist complex located in Sortavala.

Transfer to the railway station. Hi-speed train to St Petersburg

Arrival to St Petersburg, transfer to hotel.

6. St.Petersburg, Tsar Selo

Transfer to Pushkin, a town which is also known as Tsar Selo and famous because of a former imperial residence – Catherine’s Palace.

Lunch

You will visit the Catherine’s Place from inside and explore its posh interiors in baroque and classical style, including one of the gems of Petersburg – the Amber room.

7. St. Petersburg, Peterhof 

Breakfast at the hotel

After the breakfast at the hotel you will visit the fabulous gardens and fountains of Peter the Great’s summer residence in Peterhof, located on the shore of the Baltic Sea, 35 km from the city. For over 200 years the Great Palace in Peterhof had been used by Russian Tsars for official ceremonies, lavish feasts and formal receptions.

Sightseeing tour, which features the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Admiralty, Nevsky Avenue, the Palace Square, the Senate’s Square, the Cruiser Aurora, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood and the Kazan Cathedral.

8. St. Petersburg

Breakfast in the hotel.
